Shumaker, Megyesy and Townsend were members of the now defunct The Burning Paris. Ushinski was the drummer of both Barbaro and Placer. Korkidis was the bass player for Placer, though he didn't record on the record, he was an instrumental force behind their driving live performances.
On Fire left off where The Burning Paris ended. The music transcends to a level of cathartic beauty and crushing emotional depth. Beautiful, sweeping melodies morph into almost sinister awe inspiring dramatic conclusions that leave most audiences captivated and stunned. Their debut will hit stores in June 2004 on Magic Bullet Records. Look for limited experimental live e.p's from the band as well as vinyl releases on Dopamine / Amalagate.
